Baccarat Roads – What They Are and How To Use Them

If you’re new to playing Baccarat, you may have noticed that some online games boast about offering the roads, and you might be wondering what they are and how they work. Keep reading for a closer look at their origins and at how some players use them in the hope of placing winning bets.

Origin Of The Roads

Baccarat developed in the late 1800s, which make it one of the younger card games of those offered by casinos. However, in the game’s early decades, the roads were unheard of.

The Bead Road, Big Road, Big Eye Road, Small Road, and Cockroach Road were created in the casinos on Macau, in the years following the game’s introduction there by the Sociedade de Turismo e Diversões de Macau in 1962.

The Big Road

As the name implies, the Big Road is the most important of the roads, and the others are derived from it. The road usually appears a grid with anywhere between 36 and 50 columns and 6 rows.

A win by the Player hand is shown as a blue circle, and those by the Banker as red circles. Ties are shown as a green line through the last circle, and winning Pair bets are depicted as blue or red dots on the circle’s edge. The first game’s result appears in the top left corner. If the second game’s result is the same, it appears below the first result, but if it’s different, it appears to the right of the first result.

The Bead Road

The Bead Road is a simpler version of the Big Road that many players find easier to read. The results are recorded in almost the same way, with the exception of ties.

Instead of appearing as green lines on the result of the previous game, they are shown as green circles in their own blocks on the grid. Another difference between the Big and Bead roads is that the columns don’t change when winning hands change.

The Big Eye Road

The Big Eye Road is based on the Big Road. It begins with recording of the result of the second hand to be recorded in the Big Road’s second column. If a pattern emerges from the results, solid red circles are used in the Small Road. If there is no pattern, sold blue circles are used.

The Small Road

The Small Road begins with the recording of the result of the first hand that appears in the third column of the Big Road. It uses the same colours as the Big Eye Road.

The Cockroach Road

The Cockroach Road uses the same colours as the Big Eye and Small roads to record results. It begins with the second hand that appears in the fourth column of the Big Road.

How The Roads Are Used

Even though the results in https://onlineslotsca.net/baccarat/ are up to chance, some players think that the roads can be used to find patterns and to predict results. They use the results recorded in the roads to decide which bets to place.
